Getting Started
Creating Your Account
To get started with VaultRemit, click "Get Started" on the homepage and fill out the registration form. You'll need to provide your email address and create a secure password (minimum 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character). After registration, you'll receive a confirmation email to verify your account.
Account Verification
To unlock all features, you need to verify your account through our KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Click on "Verify Account" when prompted, and you'll be redirected to our KYC provider, KYCAID. The verification process is instant and typically takes just a few minutes. You'll need to provide a government-issued ID and proof of address.
Logging In
Use your registered email and password to log in. If you forget your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page to receive a magic link via email that will allow you to reset your password.
Dashboard Overview
Understanding Your Dashboard
Your dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your VaultRemit account. You'll see your wallet balances for different currencies (USD, CAD, NGN, GBP, EUR), recent transactions, and quick access to key features like Send Money, Add Money, and Convert.
Wallet Balances
Each currency you hold is displayed as a separate wallet with its current balance. You can see all your wallets at a glance on the dashboard. Balances update in real-time as you make transactions.
Quick Actions
The dashboard provides quick access buttons to the most common actions: Send Money, Add Money, and View Transactions. These shortcuts help you navigate quickly to the features you need.
Adding Money to Your Wallet
How to Add Money
Navigate to "Add Money" from the sidebar or dashboard. Select the currency you want to add (USD, CAD, NGN, GBP, or EUR). The system will display available deposit methods based on your selected currency.
Deposit Methods
Available deposit methods vary by currency: • NGN: Virtual Account (PAGA) - Instant deposits • CAD: INTERAC e-Transfer - Send to deposit@vaultremit.com • USD: USDT (TRC20), Zelle, or ACH Transfer • GBP: Bank Transfer (UK) • EUR: SEPA Transfer Each method shows processing time, minimum and maximum amounts, and specific instructions.
Important Notes
Always include your unique reference number when making deposits. This ensures your funds are credited to your account correctly. Virtual account deposits are instant, while bank transfers may take 1-2 business days depending on the method.
Sending Money
Step 1: Amount & Currency
Select the currency you want to send from (You Send) and the currency the recipient will receive (Recipient Gets). Enter the amount you want to send. The system will automatically calculate the exchange rate and show you exactly how much the recipient will receive, including any fees (currently $0 for most transfers).
Step 2: Recipient Details
Enter your recipient's information. For Nigerian recipients, you can search for saved recipients or enter new details. You'll need: • Recipient's full name • Bank name (for NGN transfers) • Account number • Email and phone number For other currencies (CAD, GBP, EUR, USD), enter the required details based on the transfer method.
Step 3: Review & Send
Review all the transfer details including the amount you're sending, what the recipient will receive, exchange rate, fees, and delivery time. Once confirmed, click "Send" to complete the transaction. Most transfers are completed within 5 minutes.
Saving Recipients
After sending money, recipients are automatically saved. You can access them from the "Recipients" page to send money again quickly without re-entering their details.
Converting Currency
How Currency Conversion Works
Navigate to "Convert" from the sidebar. Select the currency you want to convert from and the currency you want to convert to. Enter the amount, and the system will show you the converted amount based on real-time exchange rates.
Live Exchange Rates
Exchange rates are displayed in real-time and update frequently. The rate shown is the rate you'll receive for your conversion. You can see when the rate was last updated.
Conversion Fees
Conversion fees are displayed before you confirm. Currently, most conversions have $0 fees. The system will show you the exact fee before you complete the conversion.
Processing Time
Currency conversions are processed instantly. Once confirmed, the funds are immediately available in your destination currency wallet.
Managing Recipients
Viewing Saved Recipients
Go to "Recipients" from the sidebar to see all your saved recipients. You can see when you last sent money to each recipient, making it easy to identify frequently used contacts.
Searching Recipients
Use the search bar to quickly find recipients by name. The search filters recipients based on the currency you're sending to.
Using Saved Recipients
When sending money, you can search for and select a saved recipient instead of entering their details manually. This speeds up the transfer process significantly.
Viewing Transactions
Transaction History
Navigate to "Transactions" to view your complete transaction history. You can see all money transfers, currency conversions, and deposits.
Transaction Details
Each transaction shows: • Transaction type (Send, Receive, Convert, Deposit) • Amount and currency • Date and time • Status (Completed, Pending, Failed) • Transaction ID/Reference • Recipient details (for sends)
Filtering Transactions
You can filter transactions by type, status, currency, and date range to quickly find specific transactions.
Exporting Transactions
You can export your transaction history for record-keeping or accounting purposes.
Settings & Security
Profile Settings
Update your personal information including name, email, phone number, and address. Keep your information current to ensure smooth transactions.
Security Settings
Change your password regularly. Your password must be at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character. Enable two-factor authentication if available for added security.
Notification Preferences
Manage how you receive notifications about transactions, account updates, and security alerts. You can choose email notifications, in-app notifications, or both.
Language & Region
Set your preferred language and region. This affects currency displays and date formats.
Bill Payments
Paying Bills
Navigate to "Bill Payment" from the sidebar to pay utility bills and other services. Select the biller, enter your account details, and the amount you want to pay.

VaultRemit supports various billers depending on your region. Check the Bill Payment page for the complete list of supported services.
Fees & Exchange Rates
Transfer Fees
VaultRemit currently operates with $0 transfer fees for most destinations. You'll always see the exact fee before confirming any transaction, so there are no surprises.
Exchange Rates
Exchange rates are displayed in real-time and are competitive. Rates update frequently to reflect current market conditions. You'll see the exact rate you'll receive before confirming any conversion or transfer.
Transparency
All fees and rates are clearly displayed before you confirm any transaction. The total amount you'll pay and what the recipient will receive are shown upfront.
Security & Safety
Account Security
VaultRemit uses industry-standard security measures to protect your account and transactions. All data is encrypted, and we comply with financial regulations.
KYC Verification
Account verification through KYCAID ensures the security of all users and compliance with financial regulations. The process is quick and secure.
Safe Transactions
All transactions are monitored for suspicious activity. If you notice any unauthorized transactions, contact support immediately.
Password Security
Use a strong, unique password for your VaultRemit account. Never share your password with anyone. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately.
